This site aims to provide informative, accurate and interesting revision material for both IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) & GCSE (General Certificate of Secondary Education) Economics and Geography. It also has a section dedicated to the IB (International Baccalaureate) Geography course.

The site has been developed by an experienced and qualified secondary teacher currently working in an International School teaching the ICGSE Economics and Geography courses and the IB Geography course.

The revision material has been developed with the aim of being succinct but accurate & to include relevant visual additions in the form of photographs, graphs and maps.  It is not intended to replace the classroom aspect of education but rather to enhance it and provide an additional resource.
The site also contains the syllabus and assessment information relevant to the IGCSE & IB courses.  It is hoped that in the future the site will additionally include the different examining bodies specific syllabus and exam data as well.

The student section has been developed for the pupils that I currently teach and is specific to the syllabus that we follow.   Any material that I have developed myself (PowerPoint’s, worksheets, spreadsheets etc) is available to download.  Copyrighted material that is used in the lessons and for homework has been password protected and is only available to the students that I teach.

The site has been developed and will be maintained in my own spare time and therefore users may experience technical problems such as broken links or pages that are under development.  If you come across a problem with the site I would be grateful if you could email me (hywel@i-study.co.uk) to let me know.   This will allow me to keep the site functioning as smoothly as possible.

The site has a Site Map page from which you can navigate to all areas of the site.  The links on the Site Map page are all html links which you should use  if you have problems with the flash links on the homepage.
